Há exatamente um ano Ubiratã foi atingida por um temporal parecido com o que aconteceu na tarde de quarta-feira, 29. A chuva acompanhada de fortes ventos fez com que os ubiratanenses vissem árvores caindo, em alguns pontos casas serem atingidas e o serviço de energia ficou indisponível temporariamente.Enquanto caia a tempestade equipes da prefeitura percorriam o município tentando identificar os estragos. Por toda a cidade ficou vestígio da tormenta e a área industrial, às margens da BR 369, foi a que mais sofreu. Empresas foram destelhadas e armações destruídas.
O secretário de Serviços Urbanos e Pavimentação, João Ribeiro, comenta que por sorte poucas casas foram atingidas. “Alguns moradores tiveram prejuízos, mas não muitos e não em grande proporção. O prejuízo material maior foi mesmo nas empresas da área industrial”, explica.
Com o fim da chuva, equipes iniciaram os trabalhos de limpeza urbana que seguiram durante toda a quinta e sexta-feira.Os metereologistas explicam que o principal fator que ocasiona esse tipo de reação climática é o calor intenso. Várias cidades do Paraná foram afetadas e algumas decretaram estado de calamidade pública. (FOTO: CÁSSIO CENIZ)
